The ASKC

The Association of Scottish Kart Clubs.

East of Scotland Kart Club, Grampian Kart Club and North of Scotland Kart Club are delighted to welcome West of Scotland Kart Club back into the Association of Scottish Kart Clubs and look forward to the four clubs working together in the promotion of Scottish Karting.

Each club has nominated a representative to attend the meetings to discuss matters relating to Scottish Karting. These representatives have the right to vote on behalf of their club. The Secretary/Registrar, Treasurer and Super Series Co-ordinator being denied the right to vote.

The four clubs have now agreed the race calendar for 2010, and this will be published in the ASKC yearbook.

The 2010 ASKC "Scottish Super Series Championship" for the coveted "S" plate will be contested over four rounds -

11th AprilGrampian Kart Club
30th MayNorth of Scotland Kart Club
20th JuneWest of Scotland Kart Club
5th SeptemberEast of Scotland Kart Club

- with the weekend fee of £75 being agreed (this includes Saturday practice).

The 2010 ASKC Scottish Open Championship for the "A" plate is being hosted by Grampian Kart Club and will be held on the 7th/8th August.

Drivers wishing to compete in the Super Series and/or the Scottish Open Championship must be a registered member of the ASKC club and have a registered race number with the ASKC. Drivers must also have raced at least once at one of the ASKC club circuits.

All applicants for registrations shall be made by the drivers to the registrar - and it is only the ASKC registrar that can issue a race number.

A "Drivers Registration Card" and "ASKC Year Book" will be issued to the competitor.

Registration cards must be produced at signing on. All registrations shall expire on the last day of February each year, when applications must be renewed.

The ASKC annual trophies shall remain the property of the ASKC. Trophy holders shall be responsible for returning them in a clean and undamaged condition to the registra when requested.
