In 2008 the NKRA ran a National Championship that gave the club driver a Championship that didn't cost a fortune to compete in.  Rounds were organized within ordinary Club meetings and did not involve large entry fees, travelling costs, etc.  In 2009 we will again run a Scottish Championship, a Northern Championship  and a Southern Championship,   offering superb trophies for each regions Winners.  Qualifiers from these Regionals will be invited to attend our Grande Final.  This year it is  in the North West at Hooton Park Circuit on the weekend of  29th & 30th of August,  where the best from Scotland,  England , Ireland & Wales will meet.  The overall winners of the Regionals and the Grande Final will receive magnificent trophies & awards

The Cost to you

The registration to join the championship will be £50   You will receive a pack with entry forms for each round - the entry fee for the weekend will not exceed £75 which will include racing, practice and any local additions.  It also includes £3 which is returned to the N.K.R.A. as part of the year end Grande Final trophy fund.  You must also be a member of a club that is affiliated with the N.K.R.A.  With the registration pack you will receive two N.K.R.A. stickers - one must be displayed on the front nassau panel of your kart for each Championship round and the Grande Finals. All monies will go toward the Championship.  No-one involved in the organisation of this Championship is paid anything to run this series.
